How to subscribe to IMAP folders in Thunderbird

This short How-to explains how to access the “Subscribe” dialog box in Thunderbird 3.x when using IMAP folders.

This comes handy when you want to make sure you subscribed to the folders you want to have access to, or to check the list of folders you actually subrscribe to.

1 – Right click on your email account in the left part of Thunderbird and select “Subscribe”.
2 – In the dialog box that pops-up, select any folder you want to subscribe to.
3 – Click on the “OK” button.
